I'll post up the pic of my Mapex AC906 in action later tonight.  I'm not sure if I like it or not.  I did get used to it much faster than the Tama one, but I don't like the hoop clamp.  I also haven't put it through it's paces yet.

Just went to the drum center looking for clamps for the hi-hat to mount to the bass drum, not to the hoop, but to the cymbal stand in the tom mount. I have a DW remote hi-hat bar/clamp that works but that would render the remote hats useless on the other kit. I already had a chrome bar,  just needed the 90 degree clamps. So I came home with a Pearl AX-25 clamp and Tama MC67 clamp. They didn't have two of either so I took one of each. Works perfectly...

Yeah. I have an obsession with matching the hat stand to the bass pedals. I have four sets of pedals with four matching stands.  Wacko
It does bother me that  I have the two different clamps on the mount. Sucks that they didn't have two Tama clamps. I bought the Pearl clamp cause I was on a mission and wanted to go home with a functional set-up for the hi-hat. Embarrassed

Damn, I really want a direct drive Yamaha hi-hat stand, but they're either very expensive or hard to find used...
